The L.W. Beecher Museum Magnet School PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) is a volunteer organization that raises funds to provide our students with activities and programs for the good of the school and community. PTO meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at 5:15pm in the Library (unless otherwise notified).
Mission of L.W. Beecher PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization):
The L.W. Beecher Museum Magnet School PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) is a partnership between the L.W. Beecher Museum Magnet School and their families. The L.W. Beecher Museum Magnet School PTO strives to enrich each student’s educational experience so they may aspire to academic excellence and develop social-emotional intelligence. We support family participation, promote fundraising; work cooperatively with community groups; and foster a sense of community in the New Haven Public School district. Aside from raising funds for the school, the L.W. Beecher Museum Magnet School PTO is also responsible for organizing and/or staffing school activities and school programs.
